Text Box: THE NATURAL LAW MUST BE FOLLOWED IF ANYTHING IS TO FUNCTION OR POSSESS SUSTAINABILITY
It also is a guide to the Moral Law

Godís Moral Law, and its companion the Divinely ordered Natural Law, are the only viable blueprint for happy lives and happy, functioning societies; compliance with them is necessary for happiness as well.

Those who act as though there are no moral absolutes, and those who claim the right to do, think, and believe whatever they please, quite simply are liars and they know they are liars.

It is impossible for anyone of normal mental process capabilities to justify violation of the Moral Law because the Moral Law has at every point an equivalent in the Natural Law, and both compliance with and violations of the Natural Law are accompanied by readily observable and ascertainable consequences. Violations inflict adverse consequences, compliance elicits beneficial results. This is to be expected since God is the Author of both the Moral Law and the Natural Law, therefore making compliance with both requisite, and violations of either, sin or at least sinful. The most readily observable effect of violations of the Moral Law or the Natural Law is damage: damage to the perpetrator, damage to the victim(s), damage to society, damage to the culture.

Engaging in homosexuality is one of the more prominently promoted such sins, and one of the most easily demonstrated to be sin, sinfully unacceptable, in violation of both the Moral Text Box: Law and the Natural Law.

In the Old Testament, in the Law of Moses, and in His punishments against the Israelites, God has expressly stated He prohibits engaging in homosexual activities in and of themselves. Since God has also prohibited sexual activities outside of or without the benefit of marriage between those engaged in such activities, and since people of the same gender can not - by the very definition of marriage - marry each other, homosexual activities are de facto prohibited by Godís Moral Law.

Changing the legal definition of marriage to include relations between persons of the same gender does not change the definition of marriage any more than stating that a granite statue of an oak tree is a real oak tree. The statue continues to be made of granite and an oak tree continues to be made of wood. So too does the relationship between persons of the same gender continue to not be a marriage.

Homosexual activities likewise are prohibited by the Natural Law. The Natural Law guides the natural benefit of creation. When the Natural Law is violated, that portion of creation in violation is adversely effected by the violation in a direct manner, and all of creation is adversely effected in some manner in an indirect manner. Sexual activities are designed to provide the means by which the species is
propagated or continued. Equally important, sexual relations strengthen the
